MARCH IS MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL MONTH-WATCH FOR YOUR
RENEWAL FORM WHICH WILL BE MAILED SOON!

You can help performing arts in Siskiyou County by:

  • Volunteering

  • Becoming a SPAC Member

Volunteer

SPAC welcomes, and absolutely needs, volunteers--without volunteers there is no SPAC. We are a non-profit community organization, so no one involved in the performances is a paid professional.  Occasionally we have to contract out for various items and services.  These costs come out of the annual SPAC budget. First and foremost, SPAC is a group of local residents who volunteer their talents and time for the purpose of entertaining their fellow citizens.  Volunteer now for:

  • acting

  • singing

  • directing

  • producing

  • writing

  • painting

  • construction

  • costumes

  • artwork

  • tickets

If you want to volunteer, come to the upcoming shows and events and talk with the performers and production workers.  You can also get information by e-mailing us, telephoning (leave message) at 842-5442, and mailing to SPAC, 315 Yreka St., Yreka, CA 96097.

Become a SPAC Member

The Siskiyou Performing Arts Center welcomes any and all lovers of the performing arts to become a MEMBER of SPAC.  This is a great way of donating your monetary resources to a superb cause--what better way to give back some of your financial resources for the betterment of our society.  All tax deductible too.   Once you are a member, you can participate in our monthly BOARD MEETINGS.  The SPAC Board meetings determine where SPAC directs its time, talents, and money for the upcoming months.  As a member, you can participate in the decision making process.  As a member also, you can run for one of the nine BOARD MEMBER positions.  These are two-year positions.  Here are the SPAC Membership costs:

Gypsy (in high school or younger) = $10

Single = $25

Family =$40

Benefactor = $100

Patron = $500

Angel = $1000

SPAC also welcomes donations to its SPAC-Thomas W. Seiber Scholarship award.  This is a yearly $500 scholarship given to a local high school senior for his/her outstanding contributions to performing arts.

If you are interested in becoming a member of SPAC, visit our next board meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. The meetings are held at the Dunlap Theater, 315 Yreka Street, Yreka.  Or, contact us via e-mail, or telephone at 842-5442.
