Volunteer SPAC welcomes, and absolutely needs, volunteers--without volunteers there is no SPAC. We are a non-profit community organization, so no one involved in the performances is a paid professional. Occasionally we have to contract out for various items and services. These costs come out of the annual SPAC budget. First and foremost, SPAC is a group of local residents who volunteer their talents and time for the purpose of entertaining their fellow citizens. Become a SPAC Member The Siskiyou Performing Arts Center welcomes any and all lovers of the performing arts to become a MEMBER of SPAC. This is a great way of donating your monetary resources to a superb cause--what better way to give back some of your financial resources for the betterment of our society. All tax deductible too. Once you are a member, you can participate in our monthly BOARD MEETINGS. The SPAC Board meetings determine where SPAC directs its time, talents, and money for the upcoming months. As a member, you can participate in the decision making process. As a member also, you can run for one of the nine BOARD MEMBER positions. These are two-year positions. Here are the SPAC Membership costs: Gypsy (in high school or younger) = $10 Single = $25 Family =$40 Benefactor = $100 Patron = $500 Angel = $1000 SPAC also welcomes donations to its SPAC-Thomas W. Seiber Scholarship award. This is a yearly $500 scholarship given to a local high school senior for his/her outstanding contributions to performing arts.
